Important Questions and Answers for Your Stay at Lappi’s Dream House
Arrival & Departure
When can I check in and out?
Check-in is between 15:00 and 18:00. Check-out is by 11:00 at the latest. If you arrive later, please let us
know in advance. The key will be provided via a key box in the woodshed or personally by Anna Temmes
(see Emergency Contact).
What do I need to consider at check-out?
Return the key as agreed. Dispose of your garbage (collection depot at the Rauhala intersection, 800
meters from the house). Leave dishes clean. Close all windows and doors.
​Thermal Clothing & Equipment
Appropriate clothing for very low temperatures can be rented from Anna Temmes (see Emergency
Contact) by arrangement. In addition, cross-country skis and snowshoes can be rented for a fee.

The nearest supermarket is in Muonio:

Opening hours: Mon–Fri 8–21, Sat 8–20, Sun 11–19 (Holiday hours may vary.)

Safety & House Use
Do I have to lock the front door?Yes—especially at night or whenever you leave the house. Also close all windows when you are away.​
May I use the fireplace/wood stove?
Yes, but only with suitable firewood. Never leave the fire unattended. Dispose of ashes only when
completely cold. Firewood is stored in the woodshed.
​How does the sauna work?
Please follow the instructions provided in the house. Make sure the doors always close securely. Do not
use the sauna under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication. The instructions and the on/off switch
are located in the cabinet in the entrance area.
​Where can I smoke?
Not in or near the house.

Are pets allowed?
Only small dogs up to max. 7 kg and only upon request at least 5 days before arrival. Any damage or dirt
caused by pets is the tenant’s responsibility.
Why are some cabinets locked?
These belong to the owners, but plenty of storage space is available.
Environment & Sustainability
How do I sort the garbage?
Dispose of residual waste, glass, and paper in the designated containers at the collection depot at the
Rauhala intersection (800 meters from the house). Do not pour fat, oil, or similar into the wastewater.
How can I save energy?
Use water and electricity consciously, e.g., turn off lights when not needed. Use heating and sauna only
when necessary.
Damage & Liability
What should I do if something breaks?
Please report any damage immediately. You, as the guest, are liable for any damage caused. Contact
Anna Temmes right away.

No, we do not assume liability for personal belongings.

Where can I find a first-aid kit and fire extinguisher?
In the entrance area near the wardrobe. A fire blanket is located on the kitchen shelf.​

How do I access the internet?
Use the provided QR code and please use the Wi-Fi only for legal purposes.

How can I use the TV?
The entertainment devices in the gallery are available for use. With your personal login, you can access
Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Apple TV.
